This February, Laura Brown celebrates her 23rd anniversary of employment at the Parker Center. Laura started working for Dr. Parker in 1988, when she was a young mom looking for a part-time job.

“I started as a part-time receptionist in a satellite office. Over the years, I’ve had many different responsibilities, but now I’m a surgical Scheduling Coordinator,” said Laura.

Everyday for the past five years, Meghan, 23 was in pain on her left side and had trouble raising her left arm completely. Meghan suffered from capsular contraction from breast augmentation surgery she had five years previously. This is a hardening of the lining around the implant. “I felt this was self-inflicted.  Something I had done to myself from all the weight I gained.  I thought if I just worked out harder or differently I could get rid of it.  It took me a long time to realize that I couldn’t.  I finally realized that surgery might be the only way,” said Cole.
